In 2015 he founded the Social Fabric Collective. Jamie produced the Jay Maisel Workshop in New York City from 2007-2014, and was Mr. Maisel’s full-time Studio Manager for two years. Jamie has also worked as a Technical Assistant for Seth Resnick & Jamie Spritzer’s D-65 Digital Photography Workflow workshops. From 2000 to 2006 he independently photographed journalism assignments for newspapers in northeastern Pennsylvania including The Times Leader, and in Southern California for the San Diego Union-Tribune and The North County Times. While living in San Diego, Jamie was elected to serve as Secretary on the board of the local chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Originally from Palo Alto, California, “Jamie no shoes," as his neighbors called him, spent many summers barefoot along the Susquehanna River at his grandmother’s house in Pennsylvania.
